Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Angel Stradom Hotel SP. Z. O. O. The franchisee controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including the selection and hiring process. JOB SUMMARY
The Rooms Division Manager is responsible for Executive Housekeeping and Front Office and Engineering. He/she manages the general operation of the Front Office, Housekeeping, Concierge, Switchboard and Night Management and maintenance department.
- Ensure that sufficient staffing is present to meet daily business demands
- Maintain the consistent and effective flow of communication between shifts among fellow managers and Service Professionals
- Actively participate in training and continuing education of all Rooms Division Service Professionals
- Responsible for actively recruiting and hiring for all Front office and Housekeeping, Engineering positions
- Approach all encounters with guests, employees and members in a professional and personalized manner
- Must have a professional image and personality exuding confidence and leadership skills whilst encouraging safe and efficient hotel operations
- Serve as a general guest information source. Act as a salesperson
- Offer to handle special arrangements during guest stay; coordinate future visits
- Maintain database of guest preferences, habits, special dates through the PMS System
- Assist with additional Front Desk tasks
- Oversee Housekeeping Supervisors to ensure room standards before turning room ready for guest usage
- Oversee inventory and ordering supplies and linens for both housekeeping and Front office, Engineering
- Review and implement a preventive maintenance program
- Complete projects in a timely manner as required
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel
- International experience will be a plus
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Willing to work flexible hours
- Fluent English
Optional
- Experience with Marriott brand will be recommended
